The Start of Tako Mexican Food
Tako Mexican Street Food began off of the love for bold flavors and energy of real Mexican street food. We wanted to create a place where people could enjoy fresh, tasty food that’s also healthy and affordable. That dream came to life at 1789 Central Park Ave, Yonkers, NY.

We are featuring Mexican street classics including tacos, burritos, quesadillas, street corn and churros. We offer more vegetarian and gluten free options. Our rice and beans do not contain meat stock. We are also bringing a variety of vibrant salsas for your palate which are prepared with fresh ingredients in house daily.

We’re not a fast food spot. Every taco, burrito, quesadilla, and street corn is made fresh when you order it. Our salsas are a big part of what makes us special. We chop and mix them fresh every day.
